Imitation

I have realized that whenever there is a great thing, it must be imitated. When Power Rangers came out in 1993, there were slew of shows revolving around the same concept, teenagers transforming into heroes. There were shows with virtual reality (VR Troopers), knights (Mystic Knights), and insects (Beetleborgs, which were my favorite of the lot). None of these shows were as successful as the original, but instead were oft remembered for being "that other show". Somebody needs to step up, create an outstanding original imitation.
